BEFORE WE BEGIN
Clear Answers Before We Work Together.
What happens before a project starts, who leads the work, and what you can expect along the way.
1. How Sterling Works
Is Sterling an agency?
No. Sterling is a Creative Director-led enterprise with four specialized divisions. Each division focuses on a distinct kind of work, while every project remains connected through one standard of direction and final review.
Who leads the work?
Sheerwin Besana, Founder, CEO and Creative Director, leads the business understanding, creative direction, client relationship, and final professional review. Additional creatives contribute according to the approved project.
2. Standards and Technology
Will my website be built from a template?
No. Your business is not a placeholder for somebody else’s design. We start with your services, your audience, and what visitors need to know. The structure, words, and design follow from there.
Will customers find it easy to use?
That is the point. We make services easy to find, information easy to follow, and the next step obvious. Then we test the important journeys on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Why is Sterling human-centred?
Businesses are built by people and trusted by people. Sterling studies the people, experiences, decisions, and standards behind a business before deciding how it should be presented.
How does Sterling use AI?
Technology may support research, organization, planning, and workflow. Final decisions and client-facing work remain under human creative direction. Generative imagery or video is not presented as real documentary evidence, real people, or authentic product representation.
3. Projects and Fit
Does Sterling accept every project?
No. Each enquiry is reviewed according to scope, timeline, budget, expectations, access, and Sterling’s ability to complete the work responsibly.
What happens after an enquiry?
We read your enquiry, look at what you need, and recommend the right next step. If we agree to work together, the project details and reviews are organized in a private client portal.
4. Costs and Boundaries
Are external costs included?
Printing, fabrication, installation, shipping, advertising spend, travel, hosting, licensing, and other third-party costs are separate unless specifically included in the approved agreement.
What if I only need a small creative project?
Focused requests built from an existing brand or direction may be handled through Creative Support, depending on scope and availability.
Still Unsure?
You do not need to identify the correct division before contacting Sterling. Tell us what the business is working on, and we will recommend the appropriate direction.
